Eto na yung solid na pambara talaga eh. Yung tipong hindi ka makakabawi. Parang, "wag ka na lang magsalita pde ba?"
Duh is usually used mostly ng mga babae, sunod mga conyo, tapos mga maaarte, then bading.
Nakakapikon ang salitang ito. Naalala ko noon habang nagbabasa ako ng blog nung isang girl sa multiply, i commented something. its not a bad thing ha. pero she replied "DUH? blah blah blah.." Parang ako gusto ko na syang murahin pero wala ako sa tamang lugar para gawin yun kasi, sa kanya naman yun eh. she can say anything she want. Its her blog. Pero nag-init tlaga ako nun. ggrrr! solid B-A-R-A-DO!

'duh' is synonymous to "hellooooo?!" the only bad thing about is when someone strikes you back with it. it's as if the person is implying that you're so stupid to not get something so simple, or something so obvious -- this is if when the person who said it actually knows what it means, and knows how to use it.
what makes it irritating is how some people in the motherland misuse it! yun bang, para lang may masabi kahit hindi naman tugma dun sa sentence o kaya sa emotion ng statement? i've come across so many blogs and have seen pinoy shows/movies wherein actors have had misused it. i mean, c'mon, if you're unsure or even a wee bit doubtful how a specific word/expression is exactly used for, then by all means, please REFRAIN from using it?!?? you'll do yourself a favor by saving yourself from the embarrassment you'll end up with!
